Is there any plan to allow for the changing of keyboard sensitivity on the ipad?

I've noticed there are a number of cerebral palsy patients who have a problem when trying to use the ipad keyboard. Does Apple having a plan to allow for the user to change the sensitivity of the keyboard in future iOS releases?

iPad 2, iOS 9.3.1

First of all, I wish to take a moment to commend your engagement with the population in question. It is always wonderful to see fellow Apple users invested in community work. To address your query, it must be noted that these discussion forums are user-to-user, and thus all that is offered here is community support from those that have experience with the issues you may be having with your Apple computers and devices.

If you believe that there is a particular feature that Apple should consider for future product or software releases, you should direct your suggestions to www.apple.com/feedback/ipad.html

That all being said, Apple cares deeply about providing as high quality an experience as it can for all users in the Apple community. Apple users that are persons with disabilities are included in Apple's efforts. First class assistive technologies are built into iOS in order to meet the needs of users with a wide array of disabilities.

1) Go to Settings > General > Accessibility

2) Under the Accessibility menu you will find a plethora of assistive options. What you will need to do is scroll down to the column labeled "Interaction"

3) The settings of most use for your context will be "Assistive Touch", "Touch Accomodations", and "Keyboard". Explore those menus to find the best combination of adaptations that meet the needs of your clients. The Assistive Touch option is specifically for users that have difficulty touching the screen. Touch Accomodations allows you to adjust how the screen responds to touches. The Keyboard option will allow you to adjust the amount of time between key presses before a press is registered.

Hopefully, those features will help you with serving your clients.

Best of luck.
