Purchased song on iPhone doesn't play on MacBook, any advice on how to fix it?

A song purchased on my iPhone 6 plays perfectly but when I try to play it from iTunes on my MacBook, it plays for a few seconds and then skips to the next song. Is there a way to fix this?

MacBook Pro, OS X El Capitan (10.11.4)

The track is corrupted. Delete the song, then re-download it again from the Purchases section of iTunes Store.
