Can anyone help me figure out where on occasion I see emoji I have never used show up in my recent emoji on my iphone 6 plus. I am just confused as to where they come from or how they would just appear from time to time in my recents. Thanks

I'm currently going through the same problem. It's really starting to scare me also, I've never used the emojis that it's saying that "I" have used. I will never use them so why are they popping up? Ugh I'm so stressed about this.

Stressed about emoji? Really? In my world, people get stressed about things like global warming, world hunger and the return of vaccine-preventable diseases.

In the iPhone you can activate more keyboards, one keyboard is emoij: you switch between keyboards by clicking the earthglobe icon.

no I have never used them in any form in any way so how can they show in recents? What else could cause this?
Did you use these emoijs in another app? Facetime or...
I appreciate your help. Not that i know of or remember. I share icloud with another person over several different devices but the other person does not recognize the emoji either. It is my understanding that recent emoji only show on the device they have been used on but how can this be if I have not used them on my device? can they come from somewhere else? thanks

Our posts crossed. the emoij and a lot of other things in iOS changes or expanded with an iOS update/upgrade. I have no idea how you see more "used" by you than what you actually used...

In other words they have appeared at times that I have never seen them and I don't know how they got there..It just worries me and I don't know where they came from...
Ive chatted with Apple support and all they say is that it could have been a glitch in the IOS or something after an update but I cannot find concrete evidence of that either..

What do you mean? Are you saying they came with the IOS and showed up in my recents looking like I had previously used them?
