I have a 2010 macbook pro 17" that Always worked correcty, I downloaded the last updated and suddenly 2 day after appeared a white screen with the Apple and the loading bar comes up .. the loading bar gets to the end but the computer does not start what should I do?

- If you do not have a backup use disk utility to restore the internal disk to an external disk so you can try to recover data.
Then format the startup disk and do a fresh install of OSX
