how to stop logic from auto loading instruments
Hi
Everytime i load a midi file into logic it auto insets a bunch of instruments and effects . Please if someone knows how to disable let me know .
Are you sure you talk about MIDI FIles and not MIDI Apple Loops.
AFAIK, MIDI FIles don't contain software instrument (Plugins) information, while MIDI Apple Loops do. Dragging a green MIDI Apple Loop to a new Instrument Track will load the all its Plugins (if they were stored with the loop).
TO avoid that, drag the loop onto an Instrument Track that has already a software instrument loaded, or create an "unassigned" Track and drag the loops onto that Track first to bring it in.
