My calendar app is messed up both in Mac OS and iOS. When will the fix be implemented on the time servers? Or, is there a work-around?

Does Venezuela have their own time servers? You could use theirs if they do. Or you can set the time manually of course.
If I'm not mistaken Venezuela is now in sync with Aruba again. Open System Preferences -> Date & Time -> select Time Zone tab -> click on the lock (bottom left) and type your password -> deselect the automatic setting (top) and fill in Aruba in the 'nearest place' field (bottom). That should do it.
(And lots of strength over there. I've got relatives in Caracas, and the news of the situation is usually quite bad.)
Thanks for your support... I hope we get rid of these crooks soon...
But unfortunately the issue here is that Calendar gets all messed up, and the older calendar entries now show the GMT-4:30 flag next to them but do not readjust to the Aruba/EST time...
