I have recently installed Affinity Photo and now wish to transfer all my existing images, currently held on Photoshop Elements 10 either into Apple's Photo or into a separate folder. I cannot find anything on You Tube or any other internet site although I'm sure the answer is out there somewhere I cannot be the only person in the world wanting to do this so-oooh Can any one help me?

How you get photos out of PSE 10 is a question for Adobe support
Once you have them in a desktop folder you simply import them to Photos (file menu ==> import or drag them to the Photos icon in the Dock)

PSE does not manage image files. You must be using Bridge to manage your files. Use Bridge to locate the files on your hard drive and import them into your Photos library. I believe Bridge can show the folders which hold the image files in it's window:
Thanks Old Toad for your advise. Now, my 'all-new stumbling block' is this… I know nothing about 'Bridge' what it is, where it hides or how I get it. But I gotta say, the image you posted does seem to be the kind a thing that I'm looking for; a whole bunch of files, keeping all my RAW & jpeg images in one place, which I then should be able to access using Affinity Photo. So-ooooh if its not too much trouble could you forward me some more info on the subject. much'o thanks
Look for a folder Adobe Bridge in your Applications folder:
A Big, BIG thanks for guiding me to where I should've been looking in the first place but Doh! (slaps self on forehead) after clicking on every folder, file and anything connected to Adobe nope! I cannot find a single 'Bridge' let alone a step or even a cute little path on how to get there ~ Any other ideas?? 😕
I don't use Bridge myself, so I did not pay attention if other versions of Adbe software installed in somewhere else.
Have you typed "Adobe Bridge" into the Spotlight search field?
Yeah I've searched in finder too but nothing appears. I suppose I'll have to try their help/support again (last time, no help there either) Still thanks for all your help. 😀
Explain your workflow in detail from saving the image files from the camera to opening them with PSE.
Do you know where your image files are located? If so then just drag them or the folder they are in onto the Photos icon in the Dock to import them into the library.
