Not junk mail

I looked up a question on how to keep important email from going into the junk folder. Here are the instructions.

Indicate that an email message isn’t junk

Click the Junk folder in the sidebar.
Select a message, then click the Not Junk button in the top right of the message window.

The message is moved to your Inbox. Subsequent email messages from the same sender are no longer automatically marked as junk.

there is NO "Not Junk" symbol at the top right.

i Have iPad Air 2 with the 9.3.1 IOS.

you are absolutely correct - just checked iPad Air 2

However - if you were to click the folder icon and move that particular email to the Inbox - I believe the behavior indicated in the support article would engage - in that other like emails would follow suit

Thank you for answering so quickly! But alas no, that isn't the case because I've tried that a dozen times. Sounds like I need to put a bug in Apple's ear!

One other thing to suggest

Oft times on the email provider's web portal (for yahoo it would be mail.yahoo.com) - there is the option to similarly mark an email as not junk. Have you had a chance to try that?

iOS has no mechanism for filtering junk mail. You should be doing this at the server / webmail level.

I believe the instruction you mentioned is talking about accessing iCloud mail using a web browser. Use Safari to sign in to your iCloud account. You should see the Not Junk button.
