How can you determine the year of your MacBook Pro in system profiler

Bought a used MacBook Pro. Upgraded to 10.6.8 but saying that I cannot upgrade to Mountain Lion. What in the world. I need to find out what year my MacBook Pro is.

In System Profiler, under Hardware Overview, please post the second line (Model Identifier).
