256GB SSD still good?
I Still Have a 256GB 850 Samsung Pro as my boot (system and user). Out of 256GB I have 150GB left. My data and libraries reside on 3.5 Drives.
Is it time to upgrade my boot drive?
Thanks

No reason to upgrade you bot system drive. You want about 20% available and you have over 50% available.

MacOS requires at least 9GB free to operate, so you are fine unless you have too little RAM memory..
For continued good performance from any SSD, you should be using TRIM. For third-party drives, this requires your active participation to enable TRIM.
What version of MacOS ?
yosimete, 32gb ram.
thanks
This article describe the use of the TRIMforce command available in 10.10.4 or later:
