Q: computer does not recognize my Ipod which I am trying to sync my Ipod

What iPod model, what version of iTunes, what kind of computer?

Try these steps:

1. Make sure you have the latest version of iTunes on your computer and the latest version of iOS on your iPod.
2. Uninstall and reinstall iTunes.
3. Restart both your iPod and computer if necessary.
4. Make sure that both your iPod and computer are connected to a wifi network.

Just saying "Make sure you have the latest version of iTunes on your computer" is not really useful since the latest for Win XP and Vista is 12.1 but 12.3 is needed for iOS 9.3 devices
