ipad air recently purchased is displaying Sent items in Mail twice (using hotmail). Message is only reaching recipients once. Any ideas please.

Also, when typing a new mail the addresses of only a few are displaying automatically, even though I have mails from them on the ipad air.

Is the time on the sent items duplicate the same?

Explanation - if the server tried to send but gets interrupted and sends successfully a second time - that would mean two time stamps

Also

Settings - Mail, Contacts - <@hotmail email> Outgoing mail server - Details page

See if there is a check box that states - Save a copy to server - if there is UN check that
