Can't update 10.6.8 to El Capitan

I've got my Mac Book Pro (13-inch Mid 2010) and for some reason it won't update.

Processor: 2.4 ghz Intel Core 2 duo

RAM: 4GB 1067 MHz DDR3

I've tried to install supplemetial updates and fixes, such as those:

Mac OS X 10.6.8 Update v.1.1

Mac OS X 10.6.8 Supplemental Update

But it won't help.

"OS X 10.11 requires Core 2 Duo, Core i3, Core i5, Core i7 or Xeon processor."

MacBook Pro, Mac OS X (10.6.8)

Try going to the App Store Featured page and use some of the links there. You can also try downloading in the Safe Mode or using another admin account.
