Is it required to update your apple id via the iCloud web page in safari?
When I log into iCloud using safari, it prompts me to update my security information. The popup window says, "You must verify your identity to make this change." However, I am not making a change. I am simply attempting to login. I do not recognize the security questions, so I just passed. I didn't proceed with logging in or making a change because I decided to wait until later (at home on my normal network that allows me to receive and sent e-mail through mail app). Strangely, when I logged into this discussion board, using my apple id and password, I was not prompted to update. I don't want to update, especially when I am just checking mail. Is this legitimate, and if so, why am I only hearing about it at login?
Again, just curious with a mild case of suspicion,
