My phone keeps telling me error any time I try to update
iPhone 4, iOS 7.1.2
You cannot upgrade an iPhone 4 to iOS 9.3.1. You need at least an iPhone 4s. I believe iOS 7.1.2 is the latest available software for the iPhone 4.
So can't iphone 4 with 7.1.2 version updated to 8.0.1 or more
but if it 7.1.2 is the last version why is it not written is upadres but saying error in downloading

Anytime I try to update my iphone4 it stops and tells me error
