Development app question

I've been using Adobe Experience Manager - Mobile to create an app. The full version of the app is downloadable from iTunes and functioning fine. I'm working on a few updates and need the Preflight version to test on my iPad, but when I install the signed ipa for the preflight, the icon disappears after installation.

I updated my certificates and mobile provisioning files, checked the UDID for the testing device, resigned the preflight ipa, uninstalled the full version of the app, reinstalled the app, etc etc, but nothing seems to be working. I've been able to get two scenarios... Either the Preflight icon disappears after installation, or the icon displays, but no program loads when the icon is clicked.

Any thoughts as to what's missing?
