If you purchased AppleCare+ with your iPhone then either a repair or replacement will be given to you once the excess fee is paid.
If you didn't purchase AppleCare+ then depending on the iPhone you bought, you may be entitled to have your screen replaced for a small price however depending on the condition of the phone, you may have to pay more to get your phone swapped for the exact same one.
