Will I phone 6 work with iTunes on a refurbished MacBook MB061B/A. ? If not will that model be compatible with latest OX ?

Sorry, no that model can not be upgraded beyond OS 10.7.5, thus will not be able to run the latest iTunes, which is required for an iPhone 6S.
