Icloud Calendar Event cancelled - Bug

Sent: Saturday, April 30, 2016 10:17 AM And email is automatically sent informing that Event is cancelled. This created lot of confusion among the people who were to attend the event.

It sounds like you deleted an iCloud event and the invitees were notified via email that the event was deleted. When you delete an iCloud event you should be given an option to either notify the invitees or not to notify them according to this article:


iCloud: Delete or hide an event

If you invited anyone to the event or if it belongs to a shared calendar, a window appears giving you the option to notify participants of the cancelation.
