Why doesn't my iCloud storage work

I have switched (I think) all my storage to the cloud but I still have no space on my

Phone and I don't know why

the phone is saying memory full and I have lots of iCloud space

pleSe help

iCloud and iPhone storage are two different things.


Once you have filled up your iPhone storage, there isn't a way of adding extra storage for it.


iCloud creates a copy of the data on your iphone and puts it on the iCloud storage. It is not a way to free up space.


If you have a lot of photos on your iPhone and have the latest operating system installed, you can use iCloud Photo Library to free up space on your iPhone - http://www.apple.com/uk/icloud/photos/


Other than that, you will need to find things on the iPhone that you are able to put on your computer for safe keeping.
