Cannot re install iCloud because of previous version found

I have been trying to re install the latest version of iCloud on my Windows 10 PC after uninstalling the previous version of iCloud. The installer gets almost to the end and then states a newer version of iCloud is already installed and backs out all the changes. I have reinstalled iTunes and repaired Outlook with no avail. Is this a registry item that I need to find and fix ? I just want to re install iCloud again.
