iTunes Protecting Supposedly DRM-Free Music

I was planning to use a song for a video I made for my friend. I had a purchased song in iTunes that was purchased long after all purchased iTunes songs were DRM free (May 2, 2016 to be exact). If you watch the video, you will see that I followed all of the steps to make sure Apple Music knows I purchased a song and that I can download a protection-free AAC file. However, the file was still protected. I repeated the process 3 more times to be sure, but it still didn't work.
