How do I restore iTunes library from backup?

I've got a Macbook Pro that I just reimaged with Yosemite. I've copied the iTunes folder (60GB) from backup to the new image but the only thing that iTunes sees are the songs, movies, etc. that I purchased on the iTunes store. What do I need to do to restore my entire library and playlists?

MacBook Pro, OS X Yosemite (10.10.5)

Did you put it back exactly in the same place with the default name? If not, hold down the option/alt key while starting iTunes and select the .itl file inside the iTunes folder.
