May 2, 2016 7:08 PM in response to PaulB12by elcpu,Have you tried signing out of iCloud, a forced restart, and then signing back in?
Forced Restart: Hold down the Home and Wake/Sleep buttons at the same time for about 15-20 seconds until the Apple logo appears.

May 2, 2016 9:42 PM in response to modular747by PaulB12,When I logged out and in from iCloud it said I had not backed up for 57 weeks, when I look at iTunes it shows the phone and said I had backed up 2 hours before to this computer. iPhone 6 ,9.3.1.
The phone had been working and updating just fine , the only issue being the dialog asking to approve it for iCloud kept coming up. then trying to resolve that suddenly I see I had not backed up, which surprised me. iTunes now says I backed up to iCloud 2 hours ago and your computer 4 hours ago. Hopefully the request for approval for iCloud dialog won't come back.
