Hi, I use a 1TB External Hard drive as my Backup. I stupidly just pulled out the Cable (Air to Drive), now my Air won't read the External Drive. I have learnt to Use the Exit command but need the data on the "Damaged" Hard Drive.
Any thoughts!!!

Make sure External Disks is selected in Finder > Preferences > General
If that box is already checked, reset the SMC > Resetting the System Management Controller (SMC) on your Mac
Then see if your Mac can see the external drive.
