Automatic Updates Don't
The apps on my iPhone 4s don't update automatically. The phone runs iOS 9.3.1, and syncs via USB and backs up to the Mac running OS X 10.10.5
The Settings > iTunes & App Stores toggles for "Apps" and "Updates" are turned on. iTunes 12.3.3.17 has "Automatically install new apps" checked in the device pane under "Apps."
Apps update happily enough if I select the "A" symbol in the iTunes header, then select "Updates," and push the "Update" button.
But it seems like the system ought to do this by itself.
Am I missing something?
