How to adjust brightness of a video clip?

I understand that you would like to adjust the brightness of a clip in iMovie for iOS. You cannot adjust the brightness directly, but you can add a filter to the clip or project that could potentially brighten it up for you.

Hmm, the link posted above seems to be broken, but should go here: iMovie for iOS (iPad): Add video filters.

The "dreamy" filter lightens the image somewhat, though obviously doesn't provide any fine control over brightness or contrast.

This clearly needs to be an Apple Feature Request.

A "filter" is not the correct solution to this problem.

Apple needs to add this *basic* and obvious feature.

I agree--this seems like it would an easy set up--why hasn't someone at Apple done this? This is a frequent need for most everyone I know! Just lighten the video the way you lighten a photo.

Being unable to brighten a video seems how should we say, "insanely simple". Shows the world truly how we like to be different
