Q: Can i use my IMac 27" as a monitor for my Windows laptop

Hello,

I want to use my iMac 27" (late 2012) as an external monitor for my Windows laptop. On my laptop i have an miniDisplay port and on my iMac i have a Thunderbolt connection.

Is it posible to connect each other or is it only possible to connect from apple to apple.....

otherwise you can try programs such as air display I use that to make my iPad work as monitor it says it works for a computer osx or windows to work as one too

I think that my laptop does not support TDM... I just have to live with it

Hi Rudegar,

I didn't think of that! Normaly this should be the solution but.... My laptop is from work and it is secured thad no software can be installed...

I just have to live with it...
