What do I need to do to convert a file so that I can open a .jpg.moff file on my iMac?
.moff is a sony av file extension. I see that it is added after the original .jpg extension. If that is just added, it is probably just a jpg picture.
You can probably see it then after you remove the .moff extension from the filename, then click it to see the picture.
Thank you. After I removed the .moff extension I still could not see the picture.
However, I discovered that the person who sent me these pictures sent duplicates - one with .jpg and the similar picture with jpg.moff.
Therefore I did not have to worry about the moff.

so the sony machine did add .moff and changed something more than the picture extension alone...
