Why do I not have an option to save my slidehsow created using iphone 6S

I have an iPhone 6s ios version 9.3.1.

After I select photos from my photo album and then select slide show from the shared

option I can view the slideshow, add music and speed however I cannot save it or edit the text

that appears at the beginning.

I have seen online here the mention of an iPhoto App. Is that only for MAC users or is it something I can download?

I did not see it I the App Store.
