A student has entered their passcode too many times so the iPad is disabled.

I am having trouble with an iPad Mini.

A student has entered their passcode too many times so the iPad is disabled. I am unable to access the iPad since iTunes wants me to respond on the iPad to trust the computer. I am trying not to loose the content of the iPad since the student is non-verbal and the app that she uses to communicate has been customized pretty heavily. Any help you can give would be appreciated.
