Apple Watch & Weight Watchers

My Apple Watch only syncs up with my Weight Watcher Activity for my Steps only. It does not sync up if I do cycling or elliptical. I've tried to resent it numerous times but still only tracking my Steps. Any suggestions? I checked with Weight Watchers but they aren't able to help. They simply state sometimes it doesn't work, but it's not sometimes, it's always.

From what I understand, WW will only pull in the steps that record on your phone. It doesn't look at watch only steps. for a while I was using it and would just add in the difference that my watch had beyond my phone, but it became kind of a pain so until WW fixes it where you can select it to pull from the watch steps (which is an entry in Apple Health), I just turned it off and I manually put in my watch steps. As far as I know it's never looked at anything beyond like cycling etc..via watch.

Their fitness FAQ does say they only pull phone steps from Apple Health.
