How do you delete a Photos smart album (not photos themselves)?

I just created a Photos smart album defined by dates. It does not show the wheel symbol to its left like the others I have created. I re-created the same smart album defined by dates, and the wheel symbol is clearly visible. So, how can I delete the one without the wheel symbol...not the photos themselves?

OS X El Capitan (10.11.4), Safari 9.1, Photo 1.0, iTunes 12.3

In Photos Ctrl-click the album name, if the gears icon is missing. It should still bring up the contextual menu with the command "Delete Smart Album":

Or ar you using iPhoto? In iPhoto you can also ctrl-click the Smart album and use the command "Delete Album".
