I bought this iPhone from my friend. He sold it to me because he had lost it so he locked it with Find My iPhone, but forgot his apple information. He completly lost lost access to this account. Is there anyway to unlock it?

Not for you, but your friend could take the device, along with a copy of the original receipt to a physical Apple Store and request assistance. They will only unlock for the original owner if they can provide the requested information. You cannot unlock it, you would need to wait for the original owner. If all he did was forget the password, he can restore that by going to https://iforgot.apple.com.
