Network Accounts are unavailable

I'm a student in a classroom full of iMacs and I cannot log into my student computer. A red dot appears next to the username "Network accounts are unavailable".


I restarted the iMac a few times and the problem still exists.


iMac running OS X El Capitan.

MacBook Pro, OS X El Capitan (10.11)

That means the machine isn't connecting to the network / domain controller. We can't do anything about it. This is a user forum. Tell your teacher or report it to the school's IT department.
