My iPad just stopped working. It is charged so that's not the prob. It is a 3rd generation

If you are sure it is charged, then you can try a reset. Hold the sleep/wake and home buttons together until you see the Apple logo and then release. This can take up to 30 seconds or longer of holding.

It would help if you gave some details about what you mean by "not working".
