My phone has been acting strangely recently and when most of my friends have an iPhone, I have a iPhone as well however i can't send my iMessages to them. Furthermore, there phones haven't switched off iMessage.

I Can send text messages And I have checked this article still something is going wrong
What if they send you an iMessage?
Did you try to reset the network settings? Although this will also erase all your Wi-Fi passwords.
Did you try to deactivate iMessage and enable it again after force restarting the phone by holding the sleep and home button for about 10sec?
Did you try cellular data connection as well as Wi-Fi?
