AppleScript Delete Messages Over 1 Year Old

I am a novice at AppleScript and have only been coding for a short time. I am trying to create an automated way to delete Messages on my Mac that are over one year old in each chat history, essentially mimicking the what the iOS version does. Is this even possible? I have done extensive searches and tried some ideas to no avail.

As a bonus, I was hoping to make it save any pictures to Photos before it deletes them.
