When I want to start my iMac it doen't start when you push the button on the back side. There are no sounds at all. It looks like the is no plug in but it is. Are there any problems with this button on the back that isn't functioning properly ?

Unplug everything (including the power cord in the back) and wait 10 seconds. Plug the power back in and wait another 5 seconds. Try again.

Thank you for your quick replay, but this didn't help. I think the button on the back is not working. Nothing is going on when you push it. I took the plug out as you mentioned and I checked the wire and plug but it shows no damage at all, it looks new. Are there problems mentioned in the community about malfunction of the button?
Not that I have noticed.
Does the button press down at all or does it feel as if it is permanently depressed?
If the latter, you will want to have the computer looked at in an Apple Store if possible. Could be an easy fix.
It gives a clic when you push it, and it comes back. So it doesn't stay in depressed mode. I think there be nothing left to go to the Apple shop to fix it

This is correct.
If the SMC doesn't fix it, and you don't hear anything (whirring, fans, etc...) then you are correct.
If you hear noises, then the computer is turning on but the screen is blank. If this is the case, try an NVRAM reset. This won't do anything unless the computer can actually turn on.
