spotlight apps vs. contacts

How do you get Spotlight to return the name of an application as the primary result? I type "Evernote" and, initially, Spotlight shows the app. But then it also finds an Contacts record (used for Evernote email uploading) and swaps to that.

So instead of launching an app I'm sent to a contact record.

This is also true when I try to load Lync from Spotlight. QuickSilver "learned" your workflow and didn't make these mistakes...
