White screen of death. My phone was vibrating uncontrollably this morning so I shut it off. When I turned it back on all I got was the white screen with the apple. it wont restart with the holding button method, it wont connect to anything if I plug it into my laptop. Someone help me!!!

Try Recovery Mode:
Turn off your iOS device.
Connect the device charging cable to the computer only (not to the device yet).
Open iTunes on your computer.
Press and hold the power button on your device and don’t let go.
Connect the cable to the device while keeping the power button pressed down.
Wait until the computer detects the device and wait for it to restore.
Restore as New first and then restore from backup(s) if desired.

If that does not work you may have a hardware problem and would have to take it to an Apple Store for evaluation.
