Exporting Is SO SLOW in 10.1.2 Update

Has anybody else had problems with their exporting times in the new 10.1.2 update? I don't know what the problem is....

MacBook Air, OS X El Capitan (10.11.4)

Are you possibly exporting at Best Quality (pro res)? That takes longer because considerably larger file size.

OTherwise, you might check whether you have sufficient space (20 GB) on your boot drive.

SAME HERE. I have the newest MacBook Pro 13" Retina-i5 processor and 8GB of RAM with over 150 GB of storage left. It's taking over 15 minutes to produce a 4:46 video under these settings: 720P, Video Quality: Medium, Compress: Faster. On my old MAC from 2010 with i3 and 8 GB of space, it would take about 30 seconds to produce a 1080P video with max for other properties. Something is weird with Apple's updates. That's why I'm saving up for Final Cut Pro.

Same problem here.

MacBook Pro Retina Late 2013 - 16GB RAM - El Crapitan 10.11.2, iMovie 10.1.2, 100GB free space

Writing a 10 minute video in lowest possible settings: 540p, Low, Faster - Took 60 minutes!!!

What is going on!!! First horrific performance with a NAS, now this. All after I "updated" to Crapitan.

I'm going to try to turn every other app off and see if that affects anything.
