Q: I would like to download tagged OS X Photos and search on my iPhone
I have "tagged" or named people in photos in my OS X Photos App. People in these photos have been named by their faces and I can search these photos by name and the proper photos are selected.
What I would like to do is download these to my iPhone and do the same thing. If I set these up in my OS X as shared, I can see them in the shared section of my iPhone, but there is no icon to initiate the search.
If I select Photos or Albums, the search icon is there, but these are only the pictures that I took using the phone, not the ones I tagged in OS X.
The only search that seems to work is by location.
So thanks to anyone one can tell me how to do this.

That is correct - the purpose of ICPL is to keep the libraries on multiple devices in sync and therefore the entire library is synced - it is not a way to transfer selected photos but to completely sync libraries
