How can I retrieve my lost notes from iphone 5. I have no backup. Can you please help me???

If you are using iOS 9 and you are using iCloud to store your notes and you upgraded Notes when moving to iOS 9, they are backed up for you. When you open the Notes app, press the "<" in the upper left corner, and you will see "Recently Deleted". The notes are there.
