May 4, 2016 8:32 PM in response to OGELTHORPEby laumaye,I ran the Hardware Test and received the following message:
"There may be an issue with the System Management Controller (SMC). Reference Code: PFM006"
Is there any way to resolve this myself besides having to bring my laptop in to Apple for fixing?

May 5, 2016 3:42 AM in response to laumayeby OGELTHORPE,Try a reinstall of the OSX. This is a guess on my part. If there is no change, then do make an appointment at an Apple store genius bar. Note that the evaluation will be FREE.
Ciao.
