iTunes Scam

Question

I got an email from "iTunes" - not "iTunes Store" saying this:

Dear Customer

Your Apple ID was used to purchase iPhone 6s Leather Case - Black (35.99£)

From iTunes Store on a device that had not previously been associated with you.

If you initiated this purchase, you can disregard this email.

If you did not initiate this purchase, please go to:

Cancel Your Order

To cancel the transaction and to confirm that you are the owner of the account .

Your Sincerely,

The email associated to "iTunes" is @edge.hillcollege.edu. Scam, right?

Yes. Forward it to reportphishing@apple.com as an attachment and then delete it.

It's called phishing.

Please forward the email to: reportphishing@apple.com

"The email associated to "iTunes" is @edge.hillcollege.edu" Scam, right?"

They are trying to get you to verify the email address associated with your Apple ID so they can use it to make purchases.
