I have an iPhone 5c. Everytime I try to look for an phone update it tells me error and to try again. Also while I'm in an app it will kick me out. How can I fix this?

Try force restarting:
Hold the home and power buttons at the same time until the Apple boot logo appears.
I've tried to do that about 100 times in the last week and it still doesn't work. I'm not sure what else to do about it?
