I am looking for a solution for the following: when I print, I would like the footer to print in a sequential order. For example I have one document but I want to print five copies so Page 1 would state #1 in the footer Page 2 would state #2 in the footer etc. It would serve as a personal identifier for each document comparable to an invoice. Insert a page break at the end of Page 1.
Select All (command a) and Copy.
Paste until you have five copies.
Delete the last page break to remove the blank Page 6.
Print.

If your goal is to place a unique identifier on every footer of n-tuple document copies that you wish to print, then it would need to be done manually for each duplicated document. Otherwise, there is no feature in the Print panel that supports this goal, and only page numbers auto-increment in Pages.
