Why is icloud showing songs in my playlists which are not shown in my library

HI

OK so I have icloud music purchases hidden for my itunes library which is great, until I make a playlist. For example, I'm putting all the Sting and Police songs in one playlist. I did buy the whole albums but there are some songs I deleted as I don't like them. Now those songs are showing up in the playlist, but not in the general music library tab. Any ideas? Thanks

Is it a smart playlist?

Try the option "Match only checked songs" and uncheck all songs you do not like.

H Léonie. Thanks for that. It is a smart playlist, and I did go through and uncheck the unwanted ones but when I went to that option the Match only checked music is greyed out. Any ideas?

I don't know, sorry. All my smart playlists are showing the "checked items only" option.

Try if you can get rid of the cloud music by adding a constraint "iCloud Status is 'local only'".
