May 3, 2016 9:28 PM in response to darkform1989by iDM@iCloud,IF you connect you iPhone to your PC, you will find you IPhone at the bottom of the list of drives in your Windows Explorer as "your name's iPhone". From there you can move your photos to your PC via copy or cut / past. Cut will remove them from your phone as they are copied. Copy will make a copy to your PC and leave them on your iPhone. Once copied, paste to your desired folder in your PC.
Note, drag and drop is same as copy.

Once connected your iPhone should appear in the sidebar of Image Capture. Click the iPhone icon and select the photos you want to download. As a destination select a folder on your thumbs drive.
